GSU Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Initiative Library Visit

Students from Georgia State University’s Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) visited the Smyrna Public Library today.  The YALI program organized a field trip to learn about the various departments of Smyrna’s government.

About the Mandela Washington Fellowship Institute

In 2016, the Mandela Washington Fellowship Institute provided 1,000 outstanding young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa with the opportunity to study at a U.S. higher education institution with support for professional development after they return home.
