The Smyrna Public Library hosted
a 2-day Lego Show and fundraiser with DixieLUG this weekend. Almost 200 attendees
enjoyed trains, detailed buildings, winter scenes and more. LEGO fans of all
ages were inspired by the things they can build with plastic bricks. Proceeds
of ticket sales ($5 individual / $10 family) will support activities sponsored
by the Friends of Smyrna Library.
DixieLUG is a LEGO® user group for adult fans of LEGO® in the Atlanta metro with a primary focus on socialization, sharing, and collaboration of the LEGO® hobby. DixieLUG members come together every other month for club meetings, and participate in several public displays and events each year. Find them at: Facebook.com/dixielug and www.dixielug.club.
