Summer Reading Program: Thank You, Smyrna Education Foundation

We had a great time learning more about the ocean with Out of The Box Education. We learned why the ocean is salty, how volcanos are formed, and compared a shark tooth with a megalodon tooth. It was awesome!

A very special thank you to Smyrna Education Foundation for their continued support of our local schools and the library. SEF volunteered to help with this event and distributed ice pops to all of the kiddos who attended.

A patron today dropped off this big selection.  Drop off your donations at the Circulation Desk.  Thanks!

The kids learned that the Chattahoochee supplies our drinking water, how to keep our water system clean, and what animals call our local wetlands home like the eastern box turtle. 🐢 The kiddos thought the turtle was the definite highlight of the program.
