Clay Works by Barry Gregg Opens in Smyrna Public Library Display Gallery


The January/February 2019 Display Gallery exhibit has opened – Clay Works by Barry Gregg.  The exhibit is on display through February 28. The Display Gallery is located on the 2nd floor of the Smyrna Public Library.

Display Gallery exhibits are organized by the Friends of Smyrna Library.

Artist Statement

Barry is a clay artist living in Decatur, Georgia. My work can be seen at Signature Craft Gallery, Crimson Laurel Gallery, Gallery Morada and The Bascom.

He has exhibited at Mudfire Gallery, Clay Center West, The Swan Coach House Gallery, The Atlanta College of Art, Hambidge Art Center and ART Station Galleries. He was one of 50 Georgia potters to show in Perspectives in Watkinsville and FiredWorks in Macon. His work can currently be seen at Signature Shop Gallery in Atlanta, Crimson Laurel Gallery in Bakersville, NC and The Bascom in Highlands, NC. Publications include Lark Books 500 Pitchers, 500 Tiles, Handbuilding, Decatur Living Magazine, Macon Magazine, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Clay Times Magazine.
